Peachtree Hills is a neighborhood established in 1912 in the Buckhead district of Atlanta. Homes consist primarily of 1920s craftsman bungalows but multi-family and condo options exist as well. Gardens and huge, old-growth trees line the bluffs above Peachtree Creek. While it has no real “downtown” area, restaurants, retail, and mixed use buildings are scattered throughout the neighborhood. Additionally, there is a community shopping center with over 50 tenants and a variety of offerings.

Transportation
The neighborhood is in close proximity to Peachtree Road, I-85, I-75, SR 400, and the Buford Highway Connector. The Lindbergh Center station is within walking distance and is the switching station between the two north bound lines. Additionally, the proposed Purple Line to Avondale station, known as the Clifton Corridor, would give residents direct access to the CDC and Emory University. Furthermore, the Atlanta Beltline Northside Trail will run near Peachtree Hills, eventually bringing light-rail along with it.
Peachtree Hills Civic Association
The mission of the Peachtree Hills Civic Association is to promote the neighborhood as safe, beautiful, and social. The Association Board is an involved, active partner with stakeholders regarding changes that impact the neighborhood. They ensure a safe neighborhood by offering “best practices” for deterring crime and a private neighborhood security patrol. Neighborhood beautification focuses on activities like “Neighborhood Clean-Up Days” and other social opportunities offer a variety of events and settings.
Peachtree Hills Park
Peachtree Hills Park includes a gym, 3 tennis courts, and 2 community gardens. The City of Atlanta owns and manages the park. But, a volunteer group raises money and works to make the park great. They’ve spearheaded park improvements including walking paths and drinking fountains for pets and people. Additionally, the group has become certified creek monitors who report testing results to Georgia Adopt-A-Stream.
