Peachtree Battle is a neighborhood in the Buckhead distrcit of Atlanta. It’s named after The Battle of Peachtree Creek, fought on July 20, 1864, as part of the Atlanta Campaign in the American Civil War.
Peachtree Battle Alliance
The Peachtree Battle Alliance (PBA) is a non-profit civic association made up of neighbors working on behalf of the neighborhood. Created fifty years ago, their mission is to:
- Participate in the planning process that affects the neighborhood
- Coordinate and improve municipal services for the neighborhood
- Maintain and protect the character of the neighborhood
- Inquire into and plan for future neighborhood improvements
