If you haven’t tried A Mano you’re missing out. I’m talking about a neighborhood bistro in Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta. It’s my home home since 2005. A house I’ve seen previously occupied by a salon before a period of neglect has been extensively renovated to provide a warm ambiance. We sat outside along the side walk and devoured the charred octopus, carbonara tagliatelle and a cauliflower salad.

The food was delicious, the service friendly and knowledgeable with a comfortable local evening scene. We reminisced about how much things have changed, when most everything in our view wasn’t there, nor of course, the bistro where we were sitting. If you’re foodies like us, walking to quality food and vibes is necessary. And Old Fourth Ward is the place to find them.
